Programs - Preschool/Pre-K
We have designed this classroom to provide a wide variety of experiences including letter recognition and pre-writing skills. During circle time, we will discuss and learn activities such as days of the week, weather, calendar, daily helpers and songs. Along with the academics, this is also a great time for them to interact with their peers in an organized and structured atmosphere where their individual personalities will be welcomed and respected. We spend a significant amount of time teaching life skills such as manners, respecting others, sharing and much more. Your child will move on to the Pre-K curriculum when he/she will be going to Kindergarten next school year.
The Pre-K program is structured to provide your child with multiple activities and learning experiences to help them gain independence and self-confidence in an atmosphere that allows each child to grow and expand their world. Our goal is to provide enjoyment and create enthusiasm and excitement for learning, while building and maintaining positive self-esteem, responsibility, and confidence in each child. We follow and adhere to Michigan‘s education standards for early childhood and a structured curriculum that will help your child prepare for Kindergarten.
